OSLO. Vom 28. Juni bis 8. Juli 2007 findet in Norwegen ein Internationales Sommercamp für Jugendliche/Junge Erwachsene
(18 -24 Jahre) Humanistischer Organisationen in Europa statt.
Wer also Lust hat, andere Jugendliche bzw. junge Erwachsene kennen zu lernen, die in anderen Bundesländern sowie in unseren europäischen Nachbarländern in humanistischen Verbänden aktiv sind, wer den norwegischen Sommer erleben und neue Erfahrungen sammeln möchte, der/die ist eingeladen, nach Norwegen zu reisen. Motto: „Investigate your life!" Es ist also nicht schlicht ein „Urlaub", sondern ein Arbeiten an Fragen eines humanistischen Lebensentwurfes.
Kosten entstehen allen TeilnehmerInnen wie folgt: 50 Euro Campgebühr, 30 % der Reisekosten, sowie persönliches Taschengeld. Ebenso entstehen Kosten für ein nationales Vorbereitungstreffen - voraussichtlich im Juni in Berlin (v. a. An- und Abreise, Unterkunft). Insgesamt ist mit einem Eigenbeitrag von ca. 320 bis 350 Euro zu rechnen. (Das Camp wird durch das <Europäische Jugendprogramm> gefördert.)
Wer grundsätzliches Interesse an diesem Camp hat, melde sich also am besten schnell bei BundesJuHu (verantwortlich <Margrit Witzke>), damit die Zahl der deutschen TeilnehmerInnen in etwa abgeschätzt werden kann. Letzter offizieller Anmeldeschluss ist dann bis zum 1. April 2007. Gregor Ziese-Henatsch hat sich bereit erklärt, die Leitung der deutschen TeilnehmerInnen am norwegischen Sommercamp zu übernehmen und kümmert sich für alle um optimale An- und Abreise, Koordination und Durchführung des Vorbereitungstreffens, Kontakt zur Camporganisation, etc.

Da für eine sinnvolle Teilnahme gute bis sehr gute englische Sprachkenntnisse notwendig sind, das Folgende in Englisch:
Summary
5-10 young people from each country will travel together. They will have a meeting in their own country to prepare. For 10 days they will cooperate with other young European humanists in the investigation of their humanist lifestance. Will they find all the evidence they need? Or are there still unanswered questions?
Through activities and conversations the participants will learn more about themselves and the humanistic life stance. The definition of humanism and the way we act it out in different activities around the world vary a lot, and this will encourage the participants in new ways of thinking as well as giving them new ideas for humanistic youth activities in their own country.
Aims
Individual development of the participants:
• Awareness of one's own lifestance, values and ethics;
• Learning new ways of thinking;
• Increase in understanding of people thinking differently;
• More profound understanding of the humanist lifestance;
• Broadening of one's humanist network.
Programme
The suggested programme will take us from what is true through values and ethics, humanity, identity and human rights to humanism and attempting to collect loose ends. Please have a look at the <preliminary programme>!
Accomodation
We are staying in the <University College> of Finnmark in <Alta>, in the students' accomodation. Though not luxurious, the premises will be quite nice. More details to come.
